The CMX Fellows Program is designed to support early- and mid-career community professionals from all backgrounds who want to grow as leaders, connect with peers, and help shape the future of the community industry.
As a Fellow, you’ll join a small, collaborative cohort of community professionals and gain unique opportunities to engage with CMX programs, contribute to new initiatives, and build skills that elevate your impact in the field. You’ll leave the program with stronger industry connections, deeper expertise, and a more visible presence in the community world.
Fellows will also receive either a discounted ticket to CMX Summit 2026, or entirely free. We want to be sure price isn’t a barrier for community professionals to attend, especially if you’re between jobs.
Collaborate on pilot programs and initiatives that shape the future of the community industry
Help brainstorm and facilitate CMX events and experiences that bring the community together
Connect with other industry leaders and peers to exchange ideas, insights, and best practices
Provide feedback that directly influences the evolution of CMX programs
Networking and connection-building with a small, focused cohort of community professionals

Submit a 300–400 word statement telling us:
1. Why you’d make a great CMX Fellow
2. What you hope to gain from the program
3. How you plan to contribute to the community
4. Optional: Share a creative idea for a CMX program or community experience
Early- and mid-career community professionals, including those between jobs, are encouraged to apply.
A small, selective cohort (approximately 10–20 Fellows for 2026) will be chosen based on the strength of the applicant pool.

Yes! Fellows may host or help facilitate meetups, Masterclasses, and other programming.
