Yes! You are welcome to nominate yourself, your community, or someone on your team! Go ahead, toot your own horn. 

We require your email in order to track the number of times you have voted per category. You are able to vote once per person per category.

Community Industry Award winners will receive:

You will receive your trophy either in person at CMX Summit 2024 or via mail. If you are unable to attend, your trophy will be sent to the address you provide at the time.

October 26 - November 17: Nominations are open
November 27 - January 5, 2024: Public voting is open and Judging panel makes their choices
January 10, 2024: Category finalists are announced!
January 29, 2024: Winners are announced live on Community Manager Appreciation Day, at the virtual CMX Community Industry Awards Ceremony

Submitting a nomination is easy! Just click on the nomination form to get started. Make sure to provide all the necessary details, and you'll be all set to nominate the outstanding person or community you have in mind.

Everyone and anyone can submit a nomination and vote. You can only submit one nomination per category, and cast one vote per category. We ask for your email address when submitting a nomination or vote, so that we can keep track of this. 

Once you submit your nomination, the person or point of contact for the community you nominated will receive an email asking them to accept their nomination. All nominations must be accepted to move onto the next round. 

Yes! Previous winners are eligible to be nominated again.

When a nomination is submitted, the CMX team looks at the quality of the nomination. 
- Are the questions answered in full?
- Does it meet the minimum criteria (word or character count if applicable, all questions are answered, etc.)
- Is the nominee relevant to the particular category (eg. if they are nominated for Developer Relations, we ensure they actually work in Developer Relations)
- All nominations for one person or community are combined into one nomination (the number of nominations does not determine the success of a nominee).
